Tai Chi for Older Adults
Tai Chi is a moving meditation that also strengthens bones and muscles, improves balance, and increases flexibility. We have recently added Qi Gong, the movement of energy through the body. A recent study of 6400 adults showed that Tai Chi and Qigong offer additional benefits such as cardio-respiratory fitness, physical function, fall prevention and improved mental health. The class is ongoing and instruction is continuous so you may join us at any time. Your first class is as our guest. (Note: Friday/Basic Class will return in the fall.)
