In coordination with the Ashland Emergency Food Bank and the Ashland Food Project, the Senior Program receives Senior Food Boxes four times a year. The boxes are filled with nutritious items such as dried fruit, low sodium soups, tea, individually portioned meals, energy drinks/ bars, etc. The boxes are intended as a supplement for those who are in need of a little extra food because of circumstances such as limited income and difficulty with mobility. They are delivered by volunteers and Senior Program staff. If you would like to sign-up to receive a Senior Food Box or know of someone who could benefit from this program, please contact Marge Van Gorder via Email or call the Ashland Senior Center at 541.488.5342.
